   YES WE DID! I’m so proud and my heart is truly filled with joy. When Obama was made my president I was sippin’ champagne with friends. I knew I made the right choice by choosing champagne over wine lol. I knew I’d be celebrating!

   YES WE CAN! is the phrase of the day. I was watching it live on tv as it unfolded, and blogging, and texting and trying to hold back the tears and keep it together since no one else around me could lol. I’m very skeptical about the government in general but this is history. This is special. Dare I say it…this is CHANGE!

   Indeed, america did it! I never thought that this would happen in my life time. It is a joyful time. The entire structure of this country has offically altered for the good. I am proud of my country today. And the fact that hes a strong leader….as well as a black man…the closes thing my generation had seen to a strong black leader was Tupac and Biggie (i say that sarcastically, but it still holds some truth)….

   Well today I can say YES WE CAN!!!!!

    We were watching on BBC…In Aberdeen Scotland
    All night lol, praying, crying…
    Then eventually breaking into song and dance on the streets at half four in the morning…to Busta Rhymes’ Arab Money.

    It was awesome! We are all so inspired.

    I’m so happy for Obama and his family, for the American people, and for the world! Remember people, it doesn’t stop here. There’s much more work to be done.
