Something about Radiohead always seems to be ahead of the game. In a revolutionary “eff u” to the corporate music industry structures-that-be, Thom Yorke and co. decided to offer up their latest album for download- and no, it’s not a giveaway. This is a Pay What You Think This Album Is Worth move. Brilliant. Got your In Rainbows yet?
It seems Lupe’s all caught up in a Fiasco. Now being coined “Fiascogate,” Lupe talks to radio and addresses all the hype (suing Vibe!?). Additionally, Q-Tip weighs in with his opinion, showing complete respect for Lupe and addressing the entire VH1 Hip Hop Honors situation.
Instead of listening to all this silliness, I’d rather be listening to some music! Or, err, watching some music like this Lupe video for “He Say, She Say” with a real message in there. Shoo, this video had me all teared up (sniff sniff).
Common and Kanye get in on the comedy game? It seems both Com and Ye are part of a sketch comedy skit featured on “Funny Or Die,” Will Ferrell’s website.
