Yesterday Kweli recorded 4 episodes of Rap City featuring appearances from Common, Hi Tek, Pete Rock, Madlib, Strong Arm Steady, Jean Grae, and 9th Wonder. On the show featuring Tek, the duo confirm (once again) that a follow up to their classic Reflection Eternal Train Of Thought IS in the works! While that is GREAT news, be prepared to keep on the wait… it will be some time before we see an actual release.
Speaking of waiting, we’ve only got a few more weeks until the release of Jay-Z’s American Gangster (Nov. 6). Listen to snippets of the entire album and get geeked. It’s got that classic Hova sound and swagger, ripe for the Boombox. What do you think?
