Now you can check her self-produced web-exclusive release day.break currently available on iTunes. A full length LP will be released on December 13 complete with bonus tracks. • On Tuesday Black Thought served as the keynote speaker at Dillard College in New Orleans as part of their “On Campus Discussion” series. The topic was “Black Images in the Media,” a hot button issue for the students of this historically black university. It’s not often you hear about Black doing things outside of killing the mic and touring the globe (occasional movie or tv show appearance aside). Check him out in this photo posing with Dillard students as well as signing autographs. One female student said that she didn’t expect Black to be so frank. He conducted an interview with the school newspaper as well.

• While we linked to it over a week ago, the music video for Talib Kweli’s “Everything Man” (featuring Res) was declared official by his label (Warner Bros) yesterday. In the same announcement they revealed that a new episode of Blacksmith TV will be coming next week. Make sure you’ve seen the first one before that happens and check back here next week!

• Our boy Consequence just premiered his new video for “Breakfast of Champions.” The track is off the ‘DJ Whoo Kid Presents Consequence - The Cons Vol. 5′ mixtape and sees ‘Quence spitting over Premo’s beat for Gang Star’s “Skillz.”

• Peep this live clip of Lupe Fiasco performing his single “Superstar” at the 2007 mtvU Woodie Awards along side Matthew Santos on the hook and a last minute appearance from Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump. Pat is all up in the hip-hop lately as he sings the hook on The Root’s lead single off Rising Down (4/29/08). For more new music off Lupe’s upcoming album The Cool, head over to Nahright where a live version of his song “Hello Goodbye” was posted for download.
