What’s up you turkeys. All the tryptophan in the world can’t stop the blogosphere, which has become insatiable. We’re back for a quick post Thanksgiving update dedicated to two of our DJ friends.
First up, our boy DJ Soul was on Shade 45 (Sirius) today from 2pm-4pm spinning all early 90’s Hip Hop. If you have been following our mixtape series with Soul, you know he is meticulous with his selections and blends. Don’t just take our word for it though, Soul posted the track listing PLUS download links for all two hours of the show in The Lesson. Tanya Morgan recently tapped Soul to make them a mixtape as part of their prize for winning the XM/MySpace contest.
Philly’s own DJ Drama always reaches out to show Okayplayer some love. He makes it easy for us to show love back when his upcoming release, Gangsta Grillz - The Album (in stores this Tuesday, December 4th), includes songs such as Outkast featuring Marsha Ambrosius “The Art of Storytelling, Part 4” and “Cheers” featuring Pharrell Williams & Clipse.
