• Consequence drops off his latest tour journal entry from Belfast. Make sure you pick up The Source which features Don’t Quit Your DayJob in the “Most Slept On Albums of 2007″ category in their upcoming Year In Review. The Source has made their latest issue available for free download.

• In other “best of the year” news, Talib Kweli’s Eardrum made <a href=”http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewCustomPage?name=pageEditorsChoice2007
” target=”_blank”>iTunes “Editor’s Choice” as one of the ten best albums of 2007! Congrats to Kwe and the Blacksmith team. Make sure YOU vote for Kweli in this year’s Okayplayer Music Awards.

• Big Boi is set to drop a new solo record early in ‘08. Vibe was on-hand for an interview at the benefit for Big Boi’s Kidz Foundation, a non-profit organization geared towards the intellectual development of kids (loving it!). Read as Big Boi discusses his new dolo effort Sir Luscious Left Foot featuring production by Organized Noize. We can’t wait to hear this one.

• The Kidz In The Hall talk politricks. With their new anthem entitled “Work To Do” the Kidz show their support for Barak Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. Download the song for free, and then watch the inside scoop on the making of the song. I bet Oprah’s feelin’ it!
