Mos Def is at it again. No, it’s not a new album. His latest acting effort, Be Kind, Rewind features Mos starring alongside Jack Black and directed by Michel Gondry in what looks to be a spit-your-soda-at-the-screen-it’s-so-funny comedy. Peedi Crakk speaks out about being dropped from Roc-A-Fella, and his no-beef beef with Jay Z. This is after an A&R rep apparently told Peedi, Beanie Sigel, and Freeway that they were all released from the Roc. Peedi’s recently released diss track, however, isn’t in response to the new news but was recorded last year during the time he found out Jay was not going to release his debut solo album.
