• It’s true. The Roots are kicking of the Heineken New Legends Series with a double header at the famed Apollo Theater in Harlem on February 22nd, 2008 (7:30PM & 11:00PM). Tickets go on sale February 6th, but there’s a phone pre-sale going on now. Call Ticketmaster at 212.307.7171 and use the code “Roots”. Tickets start at $31.50.

• Before that though, The Roots crew heads to L.A. for Grammy weekend where they will be throwing down for their 5th Annual Jam Session the night before the awards.
