Mos Def + Jack Black, Badu x Alex Grey, URB x Jay Elect, New ?uesto Interview, Naledge Knows, Jill DVD Winners.
Mos Def can’t stay off the screen these days. Tomorrow his movie Be Kind, Rewind hits theaters, where he co-stars alongside Jack Black in this Michel Gondry comedy. For now watch this video, the first in a series of “DJ Dirt Hollywood,” a Brian Bully and Mos Def collabo. This first episode, Drive Bys Volume 1 is an “experimental look into the lives of its guest and host.” Sure, but we love the Mos Def freestyles and behind-the-scenes images, from the dressingroom to the car to the stacks of paper. His insight on the unique priveledge of “the artist” as quoted by Queen Victoria was particularly interesting and fresh.
