We listened to this in the office the other day and as tired as these remix albums have gotten (especially when involving Jay-Z) it deserves a mention. Jay-Z x Fela - Nigerian Gangster. Not bad at all. In related news, ?uestlove will be music directing but not performing on the upcoming tour Jay & Mary tour.
Okay, fine. Since we are on the subject, new Jay-Z featuring Mary J. Blige with “You’re Welcome.” And while it seems an odd choice of song considering the other tracks on the album, new Jay-Z video for “I Know.”
Back to the isht we really care about, Lupe Fiasco and band killing “Paris, Tokyo” on the Jay Leno Show this past Tuesday.
We’ll end with this very LONG and in-depth interview with Just Blaze so make sure you have time to spare before clicking.
