• Okayplayer teamed up with AllHipHop to premiere the title track “Rising Down (Hum Drum)” featuring Mos Def, Styles P. & Black Thought. Audio and Lyrics can be found in either Okay Artist | The Lesson.

• ?uestlove and Okayplayer present the exclusive album cover to Rising Down (sites, please use this one). Read ?uest’s word and discuss in: The Lesson | OkayArtist. This swipe from the MTV newsroom blog offers the most comprehensive track listing for the album, although it is subject to change. April 29th can not arrive fast enough.

• Since ?uest is getting political, let us hip you too this video of our Presidential Nominee Barack Obama speaking his opinion on Hip-Hop. Support the guerilla campaign endorsing Obama with these limited t-shirts from Shepard Fairey and Upper Playground. All proceeds go back into the movement.

• OnSmash and Okayplayer are proud to present the World Premiere video for Damian Marley’s - “One Loaf Of Bread (Something For You)” directed by Jason Goldwatch for DECON. The song appear’s on Tuff Gong’s Gang War compilation. A song about poverty, Jason used Super 8mm footage he shot from his trip to Haiti with the Marleys to set the mood.

• 3 Rounds of Buckshots. First, the brand new video for Buckshot & 9th WonderGo All Out” featuring Charlie Murphy, directed by Dru Ha and Rik Cordero. (Charlie is funny but he can’t go wrong with reminding us of his “stories” style that broke him on Chappelle’s Show) Second, Buckshot & 9th Wonder ft. Talib Kweli - “Hold It Down.” Video for that coming soon. Buckshot & 9th’s The Formula is in stores April 29th. Third, this video of Buckshot & KRS-One in the studio recording for their collab album, Conflosations.

• Yesterday we plugged the upcoming Tanya Morgan mixtape “Tanya Morgan Is A Rap Group.” What we forgot to mention is they are also male models for hire as seen here sporting fresh Okayplayer Gear. Be like Tanga Morgan.

• We’re not down for the beef (Okayplayer is for lovers) but the whole Prodigy V Phonte thing is too entertaining for us not to link to it.

• Here is some early buzz about an upcoming project from Exile. If your late, Blu & Exile have been bubbling around these parts like crazy for a minute. Peep this video of Blu performing at the Voodoo Lounge on 3.6.08 from our friends at TSS.

• While none of this is confirmed, the rumors surrounding Erykah Badu’s New Amerykah Part 2: Return of The Ankh release is that it will drop July 29th and will come bundled inside a fashion and lifestyle magazine fir which E has personally curated every page. There is still no word on the USB sticks. While we wait, we have gone ahead and posted all of E’s “testimonial” videos to her imeem profile where she speaks on each producer she worked with on the album. Watch the myspace video from her release throw down in Dallas last month.

• Carlymonkey is back with a full length fan video for “Birthday Girl”. Not for the faint at heart. We think she just discovered The Roots and personally I find the whole thing to be pretty funny. Yeah, and this.
