• With only T Minus 6 days and counting till Rising Down hits the stores, ?uesto took some time to talk with OnSmash about politricks, album bangers, the boom-bap, Birthday Girl, Rising Up, bidness, and the “N” word. • In today’s Blogarhythms, El Keter runs down his experience discovering Santi White in 2001 up through her current transformation, Santogold in 2008. Go there and get the scoop on how Santi makes genre blending look easy while you listen to her track “Starstruck.” Then hit up KCRW to listen or watch 36 minutes of in-studio performances and interviews with Santo (pronounced SAHN-TOE, people) herself. Not exactly the setting for such performances but it just goes to show you how talented this woman is.

• TheRootsLive is back with their latest installment featuring three shows to download from The Tipping Point era. The featured show is a blazing set of classic material from the historic Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C from April, 2006. Also be sure to check out high energy performances from The Roots’ 2004 summer tour in Detroit, opening for 311, and overseas in Sweden at Hultsfredfestivalen.

• To go along with this good weather, here’s a previously unreleased song by Pac Div. It’s called “Taste” it has a real cool out, top down on the expressway, spark up a….ummm great conversation type feel to it. Link via FWMJ.

• Harlem, this songs for you. Watch this new vid “Windows Over Harlem” from Amanda Diva’s Life Experience EP where Diva takes a trip through her neighborhood, celebrating the true Harlem spirit, and mourning what’s lost from the past.

• Ms. Keys has been taking a lot of heat about those “Gangsta Rap” comments last week, So here is some much needed love. Here is the video for Alicia Keys latest single “Teenage Love Affair”. One of my favorite songs off her 3x platinum and counting album right there. Produced by Jack Splash…make sure you get that Plantlife album of his on May 13th.

• So i’m sure some of you were too lazy to read that long ass press release about the Rock The Bells lineup yesterday, so we dumbed it down for you. Here’s freestylin’ legend Supernatural, who is also one of the hosts for the show, kickin’ a rhyme off the top of the dome including every member of the RTB roster. This kind of wordplay is basically routine for him, but still an ill vid. Link via nahright.
