Kanye X N.E.R.D. Remix, Gnarls “Going On” Video, Detroit Posse, MTV’s Hot List ‘08, El-P Show Review, Wale Interview.

• I know ya’ll are still bumpin that “Spazz” song by N.E.R.D. that we posted last week. Today we have even more for you from Pharrell’s camp. First a video preview for their first single “Everyone Nose”, the full length video should be out sometime this week. Next we have a remix to “Everyone Nose” with some serious heavy hitters on it: Kanye, Lupe, and Pusha T. Seeing Sounds is out this June, and can’t drop soon enough at this point.
• Gnarls Barkley never disappoints with their music videos. They continue their streak of dopeness with their latest vid for “Going on.”
• Here’s a collabo I’ve been dying to hear for a long time, three of Detroit’s finest Elzhi, Royce Da 5’9, and Black Milk. Off of Elzhi’s new album Europass we have “Motown 25” produced by Milk. The lyrical display in this one is nothing short of insane, go get that Europass album there’s plenty more heat on it.
• MTV always seems to get people riled up when this list goes up. Hate it or love it MTV’s “Hottest MC’s In The Game: The 2008 Edition” will be airing this Friday. Check the preview video. Last year Lil Wayne was awarded the #1 spot…so PLEASE log on and vote so we don’t have to hear these “I am the greatest rapper alive” and “I am music” quotes from lil weasel anymore.
• Some more new music from this past weekend. First we have OKP favorites Tanya Morgan’s song “The Bridge” featuring Elucid off their new EP The Bridge. The Cool Kids “Miami Beach”, this one is off their EP The Bake Sale dropping may 20th. Both links via shake.
• This Saturday night the El-P, Dizzee Rascal and Busdriver tour hit New York City’s Webster Hall, with special guests Kidz In The Hall and Aesop Rock. Okayplayer sent reporter-at-large Candace L. to check the show. Read her review here, and then check the rest of the tour dates to catch the show at a city near you. Also, make sure you peep El-P’s blog “Bastard’s Delight” for some photos from the NYC show, along with his typically hilarious quotes-of-the-day and a sneak peak at the tracklisting for his new meggamixxx2.
• New interview with Wale from rhapsody. Check the boards for the transcript as well as the video from the interview. He talks about the lack of love he gets from D.C. radio stations, his homie Jay-Z and making music with The Roots.
• Need some good music to vibe to at work? Well Phonte’s got you, along with DJ Brainchild they have just launched their new weekly podcast called “Gordon Gartrell Radio.” It runs over an hour so just push play and enjoy.
