Ye’s The Best, N.E.R.D. Interview + Film, Congrats Lupe, Cons Video Shoot, Idle Warship Vid, New Cool Kids Song, Dwele LP Sample.

• In recognition of his top selling albums, record breaking sold out shows, and relentless tenacity in everything that he does, MTV (the brand that somehow still seems to matter in today’s media cluster f*ck) has declared Kanye West the biggest star in outerspace and beyond (aka, the Universe). Oh wait, that was Kanye who declared that. MTV wrapped up their “Hottest MCs In The Game” list naming ‘Ye as #1. After witnessing the Glow In The Dark tour from 8 rows out Saturday night in Jerseydelphia, there is no doubt that this man has clearly separated himself from any proverbial pack, and by *uh hem* light years. It’s true, so, congratulations and personally, “thank you.” But don’t just take my word for it. The show has Diddy video blogging where he reinstates his unabashed love for Hip-Hop. If you are that interested, hit up Kanye’s blog for the clip. Your time would better be spent checking Blu’s “Muto” animated public painting which made the rounds last week, or “The Dark Knight” Batman trailer.

• Congratulations are also in order for Lupe Fiasco who landed at #7 on MTV’s Hot list after appearing nowhere on last years. Okayplayers discuss the list. For more Lupe, Nahirght has rounded up some interviews with Angie Martinez.

• Following up with more artists from the Glow In The Dark Tour, listen to Angie Martinez interview Pharrell on HOT97 and find out what’s up with N.E.R.D.’s new album Seeing Sounds (out June 10th), hear about Lindsay Lohan who stars in the new video, and more. It looks like N.E.R.D. is also about to debut a full-length feature film, directed by Hype Williams, which will follow the band from the recording process to tour. Pharrell says it will be like The Beatles‘ Hard Day’s Night.

• Consequence really seems to be making the most out of this Glow In The Dark Tour. We have some behind the scenes pics of the video shoot for his new song “Disperse”(produced by Koolade) featuring GLC and Really Doe. The video is directed by Rik Cordero, and looks to be laced with GITD cameos from N.E.R.D., Lupe and Kanye. We’ll hit you with more info when it leaks (good lookin on that link h.e.r).

• We all know it’s time for Hil to fall back and let Obama take the lead on this one… it seems everyone knows except Hil! The 80,000 who showed up for the rally in Oregon this weekend certainly knew. Idle Warship (Kweli + Res send the strong message to your girl via their song “Fall Back.” Peep the new video, Executive Produced by our boy Tunji, which only punctuates the message even further.

• Courtesy of Shake, we have new music from The Cool Kids. The song is called “Jingling”, and it’s off of their forthcoming EP The Bake Sale. The EP will be available on itunes tomorrow and the hard copy will be in stores June 10th.

• Itsthereal always manages to tickle our funny bone. Peep this skit “Liscense II Trill” featuring Bun B, who’s album II Trill is in stores tomorrow. And damn, who remembers Opposite Day (one huge reason not to have any kids…)?!?

• Dwele’s new album Sketches Of A Man drops June 24th on RT Music Group/Koch Records. We’re all very anxious to hear what his third solo album will sound like now that he is finally getting much more well deserved attention.
