The Roots

I was just browsing through your website about the negative comments about the lack of comments pertaining to the Roots. All I have to say is that the Roots are one of the few true HipHop acts in the business today. I’ve been to several of their concerts and was always sparked by their high level. I’m sure Lil Wayne receives a hundred times more comments than the Roots. First of all the record companies are packaging music for fourteen year old white girls. Who you think has all the time to send in their comments and secondly the Roots fan base is now 27 to 35 years old. Like me they don’t have time to write into blogs but I do cop their album everytime it comes out. The negative comment reminds of something Nas said in an article and that HipHop being commercial and watered down is positive for the true artists because all the waste will fall to the bottom and become obsolete. I don’t know if tha is true but with ignorant kids talking about stuff they don’t know about, I pray Nas is right. If he isn’t clowns like T-pain are going to be considered the GOAT and that scarier than the New World Order or maybe that is a sign that it is coming because if folks are putting down groups because their website isn’t getting a million hits. Folks need to follow their own path instead of following others. The Roots are the shit. For the negative commenters I would suggest watching the Roots “What they do” video
