video: The Roots Colbert Report performances

rootscolbert.jpg

Smashin guitars and everything last night The Roots (or some derivation there-of) performed on The Colbert Report which has been broadcasting live all week from Philadelphia. Watch the videos where they perform the opening theme song as well as their version of the “SPB”. Yesterday it was falsely promoted as the first ever musical performance (we weren’t counting John Legend’s two appearances since both involved Colbert making them more sketch like) but last night definitely saw some firsts for the show.

So I finally got a chance to see the Legendary in concert, they showed love at Webster Univ. (STL). I although the concert was just that, Legendary, I can’t lie still am kinda mad that ?uesto didn’t so love to a fellow musician,

I mean he could have thrown one of those sticks in my direction at least. . . Out of respect I rock the pick half the concert. So I’m thinking the least he could do is hook me a up with a interview on my radio show:

“THE MIX UP FRI. 5:30-7:30PM” 618-650-3024
