audio: Bonus song from Rising Down international release

Another Roots song? You already knew “Birthday Girl” would only be out on the International release, but there’s another gem on there as well called “The Grand Return” featuring Dice Raw and Wahud Ahmad. Listen to Cap’n Kirk murder the guitar solo at the end!

I love it…wish it was on the U.S. version, cause I sho didn’t want the album to end. And how often do we get to hear Kirk solo? That adds a wonderful touch. :-)

the album is magnificiently sick. the lyrics along with the backdrop sound makes this album another roots classic–i can’t say any more without sounding like a follower…i appreciate groups that experiment with the creative process they are familiar with and knowingly alter it in order to come up with a new sound.

Being an Aussie fan I was really surprised to find this track on the back of the cd. Great stuff. Wish it was longer. The Kirk solo was wicked. We need more of that on upcoming albums =P

All in all, I am absolutely loving this album. I was waiting eagerly for some great music this year and you guys have delivered again. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait till you play Sydney again. I will DEFINITELY be there!

3-4 good songs… rest are well.. could be better. Why did this album just come out of nowhere. DefJam either does a wicked job promoing or the worst in the world.

    Busta Rhymes - Don’t Touch Me…
